My Mind Check featured in ACER's new national Wellbeing Program Guide

My Mind Check has been selected for inclusion in the Australian Council for Educational Research’s (ACER) newly launched Wellbeing Program Guide, a comprehensive national directory of quality student wellbeing programs.

The Guide, commissioned by the Tasmanian Department of Health and developed in collaboration with education stakeholders, catalogues over 150 evidence-based programs that support the social, psychological, and physical wellbeing of students across Australia.

My Mind Check’s inclusion recognises the platform’s evidence-based approach to early identification and intervention in student mental health. The free digital tool enables schools to conduct brief mental health check-ins with students from Foundation to Year 12, providing real-time insights that help educators identify students who may benefit from additional information and support.

“Being featured in ACER’s directory alongside other quality wellbeing programs reinforces our evidence-based approach,” said Dr Lauren McLellan, Director of My Mind Check. “This visibility will help more schools discover how brief check-ins can transform their approach to student mental health and wellbeing.”

The ACER directory aims to be a ‘one-stop-shop’ for schools seeking wellbeing programs suited to their specific needs and contexts, with sophisticated filtering options for different student populations and focus areas.

My Mind Check is currently supporting over 17,300+ students, and 1,500+ staff members across all Australian states and territories, with research showing 20% fewer emotional difficulties and 30% better attendance rates in participating schools.
