Important update regarding the future of My Mind Check

My Mind Check, 12 December 2025

My Mind Check has been funded by the Australian Government Department of Education since 2023, enabling us to provide this free digital mental health platform to schools across Australia.

That funding is due to run out shortly. While we have been working to secure an extension, we were recently notified of the decision not to continue funding My Mind Check. As such, operations will cease on 19 December 2025.

We completely understand that this news may be disappointing, and we share this sentiment.

What this means for schools:

  • My Mind Check will continue to operate as normal until 19 December 2025
  • No immediate changes to schools’ planned check-ins or access to the platform until 19 December 2025
  • The portal will no longer be accessible after 19 December 2025
  • Our School Support Team remains available until 4pm on 19 December 2025. After this time, contact [email protected]

We recommend using this remaining time to complete any outstanding actions from the follow-up framework before 19 December 2025.

Our impact

My Mind Check has successfully demonstrated the value of early intervention in student mental health. More than 200 schools and 20,000+ students across all states, territories, and education sectors have benefited from evidence-based, proactive mental health insights. This success has been possible because of schools’ dedication to student wellbeing.

We would like to thank our partner schools for their trust in My Mind Check and their commitment to giving students a voice in their mental health journey. Their partnership has been instrumental in demonstrating how evidence-based, proactive tools can make a meaningful difference.

We will continue to provide updates throughout this period.
